An E-commerce Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to manage and oversee inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and supporting smooth warehouse and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements regularly.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Track incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged items and report accordingly.
Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for efficient stock management.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of inventory items.
Maintain inventory documentation including invoices, GRNs, and dispatch records.
Use inventory/ERP systems for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
Support audit processes by providing accurate inventory data.
Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.
Job Specification
Required qualifications for this job
Other Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
2–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or store management
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and stock management practices
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software
Good understanding of documentation (GRN, invoices, stock registers)
Strong analytical and numerical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Effective communication and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations
Experience in stock audits or physical verification
