Tibetan Handicraft & Paper (THP) Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Nepali producer and exporter of handmade Lokta paper and paper-based products. To strengthen its competitiveness in premium international markets, THP is undertaking a Kathmandu Expansion and Design Innovation Project focused on modernising production, introducing contemporary design processes, and enhancing export readiness. The project implemented under the Nepal in Business (NiB) framework will upgrade production facilities, introduce seasonal design workshops, co-create three contemporary collections, and train artisans in design adaptation for stationery, décor, and handicraft segments. It will also prepare THP for FSC and Fair-Trade certifications and strengthen its branding and marketing capabilities.

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Objectives of the Assignment

The Inventory Officer will oversee the management and control of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure effective inventory control, accurate documentation, and timely availability of materials, thereby supporting uninterrupted production operations and export preparation processes.

Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities

Oversee systematic recording and tracking of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods inventory.
Ensure efficient stock control through regular coordination with procurement and production units.
Implement proper asset tagging and documentation procedures.
Monitor inventory transactions and conduct periodic reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
Assist in internal audit processes by preparing detailed stock movement and reconciliation reports.

Deliverables

Monthly inventory and stock reconciliation reports.
Updated database of material and finished product movement.
Inventory management process documentation.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
2–3 years’ experience in inventory or warehouse management.
Experience with production or craft-based enterprises.
Familiarity with inventory software or digital stock systems.

Location: Kathmandu Head Office
Salary: Negotiable

Management & Reporting

Reports to: Project Manager, THP Pvt. Ltd.
Coordinates with: Production, Design, Marketing, and Finance teams as relevant.
