Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resource Officer at DV Group of Companies located in Kathmandu. The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for HR management, developing HR policies, employee relations, and job description development. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to HR functions and ensuring the implementation of HR policies in the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Process and manage the company’s payroll system ensuring timely and accurate payments. Maintain payroll records and resolve any discrepancies. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding employee compensation and benefits. Coordinate with finance for payroll budget and reconciliation.
- Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions. Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards.
- Training and Development: Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with managers. Design, implement, and monitor training programs and development initiatives. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed. Facilitate internal workshops and training sessions.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction. Organize employee events and initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture. Conduct regular employee surveys and analyze results to recommend improvements. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaboration with Management: Work with management to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Provide HR support and advice to management and employees on HR policies and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Participate in strategic planning meetings and contribute to organizational development.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on payroll, recruitment, and training.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor laws.
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- High level of confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
