Job Description

Qualities we are looking for:

  • 2-3 year of experience working as a HR Manager in a leading firm
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional HR Management
  • HR degree 
  • International experience is highly valued
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills
  • Enjoys working with people, and building and maintaining relationships with various third parties
  • Is aware of HR laws and policies of Nepal

About the role:
The HR Manager is responsible for hiring and training best candidates for Kaymu to support its fast growth. He or she will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and policies as well as for creating a work environment where employees can grow into their best professional and personal selves.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short-listing, interviewing and selecting candidates
  • Maintaining long list of good candidates for future
  • Working with the MD and Finance Manager to develop and implement HR/company policies, pay scale, reimbursements and so on
  • Prepare, develop and implement performance management as well as performance evaluation policies and procedures
  • Preparing employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Hiring and working with external HR consultants, if needed
  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records
  • Build and maintain relationships with major colleges/universities and societies to facilitate hiring
  • Organize and participate in major recruiting events
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
