Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Human Resource Manager will lead the HR function while also overseeing essential administrative processes that support daily operations. This role requires hands-on professional experience in HR in policy building, large staff handling, and training, and basic office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks
Ensure compliance with Nepal labor laws and internal standards
Manage recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits
Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance management
Oversee HR operations for a large workforce across head office and outlets
Design and manage performance appraisal and evaluation systems
Coordinate staff training and development programs
Support operations team on HR issues, documentation, daily operations and staff discipline

Administration & Office Support

Oversee basic office administration and day-to-day HR documentation
Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave systems
Coordinate with finance on payroll, staff benefits, and reimbursements
Manage HR-related vendor coordination (training providers, uniform suppliers, etc.)
Ensure proper filing, record-keeping, and compliance documentation
Support management with HR and admin reports as required

Culture & Compliance

Promote a positive, disciplined, and performance-driven workplace culture
Ensure workplace policies are clearly communicated and consistently followed
Assist management during audits, inspections, and internal reviews

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

4 years of experience in HR and Administration, preferably in franchise, QSR, retail, or multi-outlet businesses
Proven experience in policy development and handling large staff strength (100+ employees across Nepal)
Strong knowledge of Nepal labor laws and HR best practices
Experience managing both HR operations and basic administration
Good leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
