Job Description

About the role:

Assist HR Manager to hire and train best candidates for Kaymu to support its fast growth and to develop and implement HR strategies and policies for the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short-listing, interviewing and selecting candidates;
  • Maintaining long list of good candidates for future.
  • Working with the HR Manager/MD to develop and implement HR/company policies, payscale, reimbursements and so on
  • Assist in Preparation, development and implementation of performance management as well as performance evaluation policies and procedures
  • Working with external HR consultants, if needed
  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records
  • Build and maintain relationships with major colleges/universities and societies to facilitate hiring
  • Organize and participate in major recruiting events
  • Qualities we are looking for:
  • Previous internship within an HR department in a leading firm
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional HR Management. HR degree is welcomed but not required.
  • International experience is highly valued
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Enjoys working with people, and building and maintaining relationships with various third parties.
  • Has basic knowledge of HR laws and policies of Nepal
