Job Description

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for all HR functions, including recruitment & selection, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compensation & benefits.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with Nepalese labor laws and regulations.
Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs, develop recruitment strategies, and source, screen, and interview top candidates.
Oversee the employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Champion Khalti's culture by promoting employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and professional development opportunities.
Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data.
Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to optimize Khalti's HR processes.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (strongly preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience leading the HR function in a mid-sized or large organization, with experience in the FinTech industry a plus.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that align with business goals.
In-depth knowledge of Nepalese labor laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions to HR challenges.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Passion for building a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
