Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR and Admin Manager responsible for managing recruitment, performance, employee engagement, learning & development, and HR administration. The role focuses on supporting a growing workforce, ensuring compliance, improving employee morale, and maintaining efficient HR and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning:

Plan and execute manpower requirements aligned with organizational and project needs
Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes (interns to experienced staff)
Prepare job descriptions, KRAs, KPIs, and scope of work
Coordinate internship, campus hiring, onboarding, and induction programs

2. Performance Management:

Implement and administer performance appraisal systems as per timelines
Support department heads in KPI-based evaluations and performance improvement plans (PIP)
Assist in maintaining a performance-driven culture

3. Employee Engagement & Relations:

Develop and execute employee engagement and morale-boosting initiatives
Maintain healthy employee relations and address grievances professionally
Support retention strategies and employee feedback mechanisms

4. Learning, Development & Career Planning:

Design and implement employee development and career growth programs
Identify skill gaps and support training initiatives (technical and soft skills)
Assist in leadership and mid-level manager development programs

5. Reward & Recognition:

Support and monitor reward and recognition programs
Track effectiveness and recommend improvements

6. HR Policies, Compliance & Documentation:

Prepare, update, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook, and HR forms
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws (e.g., Nepal Labor Act, SSF)
Maintain proper documentation of HR activities and employee records

7. HR Operations:

Execute effective onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain attendance, leave, and personnel records
Prepare HR MIS, analytical reports, and dashboards as required

8. Administration & Internal Operations:

Handle office administration and internal operational activities
Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors
Maintain vendor records, quotations, and basic negotiation support
Oversee office facilities, utilities, assets, and maintenance activities
Support internal coordination for smooth day-to-day operations

9. Additional Responsibilities:

Perform any other HR and administrative duties as assigned by management

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Experience Required: More than 4 years

Qualification:

Minimum 4 years of experience in HR and operational management

Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple HR functions independently
Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
Employee-centric mindset with problem-solving abilities
