Trishuli Plus, a community action group, established in 2006, is a community based non-profitable, politically non-aligned, non-governmental organization (NGO) led and run by and for people living with HIV (PLHIV) and affected by TB to provide prevention, care & support including treatment services to PLHIV and TB affected population.

Trishuli Plus has been implementing The Global Fund TB Program in Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, Doti & Achham Districts supported by Save the Children International under The Global Fund. Therefore, we are inviting applications from interested Nepalese citizens who are eligible, accountable and willing to achieve the result for the positions as specified below:

Reporting to: Project Coordinator (PC)

Duty Station: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Sinamangal

Required No: One 

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Deliver the behavior change communication targeted to migrant workers at foreign country
  • Provide orientation in transit (Airport) to the migrant workers regarding safer sex behaviors 
  • Distribute IEC Materials, audio, video, play games and organize creative events/meeting with migrant workers to deliver the safer sex messages
  • Condoms demonstration as required
  • Maintain and update all the recording and reporting forms (log sheets), registers and diary
  • Support M&E Officer to update the information in OPMIS and IHMIS
  • Make regular coordination with TIA staffs
  • Maintain data security, confidentiality and sharing protocols
  • Follow up and flag field level issues and challenges to PC and SR office for further solution
  • Make field trips to ensure timely completion of quality service delivery, data collection and program implementation 
  • Ensure the stock level of IEC materials in help desk
  • Support ED/PC to plan and Implement program events/activities in the duty stations
  • Follow the Safeguarding Policy of SCI and comply at all level
  • Perform any other duties as required or requested by line manager

Qualification and experience:

  • Secondary degree in social sciences with 2 years of working experiences in related field or HA/CMA/ANM/AHW with 2 year of working experience in related field
  • Must have completed psychosocial counseling training
  • Residency at local level/PALIKA level will be in priority
  • Good recording and reporting skill
  • Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skill
