Experience:

  • Experience in the FMCG, hygiene, or distribution industry is an advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or Language Studies.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and multilingual General Manager Assistant to support the General Manager in day-to-day business operations. This position requires exceptional communication and coordination skills, with fluency in Chinese, English, and Nepali.

As the GM Assistant, you will serve as the bridge between the General Manager and internal teams, suppliers, and business partners. You will manage administrative tasks, communication, and documentation, while ensuring smooth execution of business activities and maintaining confidentiality at all times. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, multicultural business environments and are eager to contribute to the company’s operational efficiency and growth.

Department: Executive Office

Key Responsibilities:

1. Executive Support & Coordination

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the General Manager.
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Draft, translate, and manage correspondence, reports, and documents in Chinese, English, and Nepali.
  • Handle confidential information and communications with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating cross-departmental tasks and ensuring timely completion of key business priorities.

2. Communication & Liaison

  • Act as the primary contact point between the GM and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Translate communications, documents, and meeting discussions between Chinese, English, and Nepali as needed.
  • Facilitate smooth communication with foreign partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Prepare and circulate meeting minutes, memos, and follow-up actions.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation related to business operations.
  • Support the GM in preparing reports, presentations, and business proposals.
  • Coordinate the submission of departmental reports and consolidate data for management review.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and reporting standards.

4. Event & Market Coordination

  • Organize and coordinate company events, business visits, and meetings involving international participants.
  • Manage logistics, hospitality arrangements, and translation support during official meetings.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials and company profiles for guests or delegates.

5. Strategic & Administrative Assistance

  • Support the GM in planning and executing strategic projects or initiatives.
  • Conduct research on markets, competitors, or industry trends when required.
  • Provide operational insights and recommendations to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations and leadership activities.
