Job Description

A General Manager in a manpower recruitment company oversees daily operations and strategic growth, focusing on profitability and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans, managing budgets and resources, hiring and training staff, driving sales and client relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and recruitment regulations. They also lead teams, resolve disputes, and ensure the company's overall performance meets business objectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic and financial responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for growth and profitability. 
  • Set departmental and company-wide goals, and review progress toward them. 
  • Develop and manage budgets, including payroll and resource allocation, ensuring financial targets are met. 
  • Analyze business performance, costs, and revenue data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement. 

Operational and team management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. 
  • Lead, motivate, and train recruitment teams to achieve performance goals. 
  • Delegate tasks and ensure all policies, procedures, and standards are followed. 
  • Resolve internal staff conflicts and address employee performance issues. 
  • Ensure the recruitment process is effective and efficient, and that staff are providing excellent client service. 

Client and business development

  • Drive sales and achieve agreed-upon sales targets. 
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving any disputes or issues. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market share. 
  • Ensure the company's brand and reputation are upheld.
