About the job

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with expertise in Next.js and a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX to join our team for the BidFlow project, our bid management software. The Full Stack Developer will handle both front-end and back-end development, utilizing Next.js for server-side rendering and API routes. Meanwhile, the Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, collaborating closely with the Full Stack Developer.

Position 1: Full Stack Developer (Next.js Specialist)

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the BidFlow application using Next.js for both front-end and back-end.
Implement responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js.
Design and implement server-side logic and API endpoints.
Integrate with PostgreSQL database for data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with the team to define and implement new features.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.
Assist in deployment and maintenance on GCP/Vercel.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
Extensive experience with Next.js, including server-side rendering and API routes.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP or Vercel preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with GraphQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
Experience with bid management or project management software.
