Criico's Management Trainee Program offers fresh graduates a structured path into Mobile app development, combining hands-on technical training with exposure to product thinking and the full app lifecycle. The Mobile App Developer - Trainee will work alongside senior engineers to build and ship features for our mobile applications while developing the skills needed to grow into a full-time mobile developer role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining mobile app features under senior developer guidance
Translate UI/UX designs (Figma) into responsive, functional mobile screens
Write clean, readable code following team coding standards
Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs into mobile app screens and flows
Debug and fix issues reported by QA or users, including device-specific bugs
Assist with app store submission processes (Google Play / Apple App Store)
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
Learn and apply best practices in mobile performance, offline handling, and security
Test across devices and OS versions to ensure compatibility
Document components and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Rotate through short project assignments to build broad product understanding

Bachelor's degree (recent graduate or final semester) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Foundational knowledge of a mobile development stack — Flutter (Dart), React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript), or native (Kotlin/Swift)
Basic understanding of mobile UI principles and responsive layouts
Basic understanding of Git/version control
Strong willingness to learn and take feedback
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in English and Nepali

Preferred

Personal or academic mobile app projects (GitHub portfolio, published app links, or APKs)

Exposure to REST APIs and JSON handling
Familiarity with state management (Provider/Riverpod, Redux, or similar)
Basic understanding of push notifications, local storage, or device permissions
Interest in fintech/payments-related mobile experiences
