Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a French Speaker to communicate our French clients and submit equivalent report in English to our office manager. Translator to interpret written and audio pieces in different languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone. Translator responsibilities include Specking, reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in at least two languages in addition to your native language. Ultimately, you will provide ready-to-use translated content that meets our internal needs and helps us reach a broader audience.

Responsibilities:

Convert concepts in the English language to equivalent concepts in the French language
Compile information, such as technical terms used in legal settings, into glossaries and terminology databases to be used in translations
Speak, read, and write fluently in at least two languages, including English and French
Relay the style and tone of the original language
Manage work schedules to meet deadlines
Render spoken messages accurately, quickly, and clearly

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
Good knowledge of content editing tools
Familiarity with translation software
Fluency in at least French and English languages in addition to your native Nepali language
