Role Overview

The Founders Office responsible will support Dr. Bishesh Khanal, founding Director of NAAMII, in his daily operations. This role is an entry-level position or internship suitable for highly driven high school graduates or early college students interested in research and administrative careers in science and technology. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing emails, and organizing Dr. Khanal’s calendar. 
  • Support ongoing research projects by collecting data, preparing basic reports, and maintaining project documentation. 
  • Participate in meetings and take detailed notes to assist with project follow-ups. 
  • Conduct background research and prepare materials for presentations and publications. 
  • Help organize and coordinate academic and research events. 
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, preparing meeting rooms, and handling correspondence. 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from high school; students in early years of college are also encouraged to apply. 
  • Strong interest in mathematics, informatics, or machine learning. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. 
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • High level of integrity and reliability. 
  • Good communication skills, with proficiency in English and Nepali. 

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of or keen interest in research methodologies. 
  • Quick learners can work independently and be part of a team. 
  • Enthusiasm for technology and innovation.
