As a Food and Beverage Attendant, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service in dining establishments such as restaurants, cafes, bars, or hotels. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring guests have a positive and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in making menu choices.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.

Food and Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve drinks, including coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages.
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling salads, appetizers, or desserts.
- Ensure presentation standards for all dishes and beverages are met.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keep dining areas clean and organized, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas and equipment.
- Assist in dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed.
Compliance and Safety:
- Follow health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues to management.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Support other team members during busy periods or when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
