As a floor manager you have a responsibility for the day-to-day management of a Pet Grooming Center and store in accordance with overall company policy. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing Staff
• Scheduling appointments for pet grooming clients
• Maintaining the appointment calendar and update it regularly
• Communicating with clients to confirm appointments and answer any questions they may have
• Keeping track of grooming supplies and order more when necessary
• Meeting customer demands and requests
• Providing excellent customer service and ensure clients are satisfied with their appointments
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
• Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits
• Dealing with cash register
• Dealing with staffing issues; providing or organising training and development
• Making sure that pets service and health and safety are met
• Responding to customer complaints and comments
• Assist groomers with tasks such as bathing, brushing, and drying pets
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for both customers and employees
• Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff members
• Collaborating with other managers and departments to ensure overall success of the business or organization
• Attending and chairing meetings
• Initiating changes to improve the business
