Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Finishing Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all architectural and interior finishing works at the project site. This is a Client-Based Site Engineer position, requiring close coordination with the project architect, the developer's engineering team, consultants, and contractors to ensure that all works are executed in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all architectural, interior, and finishing works at the project site.
Ensure proper execution and quality control of finishing works including flooring (IPS, tiles, granite, marble, parquet, etc.), false ceiling works, furniture and joinery works, MEP coordination works, door and window installation, painting, putty, and other interior finishing activities in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with the project architect, the developer's engineering team, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution of works.
Review architectural, interior, and MEP drawings to identify discrepancies and resolve coordination issues before execution.
Monitor workmanship and ensure all finishing works meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
Verify material samples, mock-ups, and completed works prior to approval.
Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of services with architectural and interior finishes.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
Track project progress and ensure finishing activities are completed within the approved project schedule.
Assist in snagging, punch-list preparation, rectification, and final handover activities.
Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and maintain proper housekeeping during execution.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 2–3 years of experience in building construction with major involvement in interior and finishing works.

Professional Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of building interior and architectural finishing works, including execution methods, sequencing, quality control, and coordination with related disciplines.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, interior, and MEP drawings.
Good understanding of finishing quality standards, material specifications, and site execution practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, OneDrive, etc.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Good documentation, reporting, and time management skills.

Other Requirement: Own vehicle and a valid driving license are highly preferred.

Salary: NPR 30,000 – 40,000 (Based on experience)
