Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the design, planning, and site supervision of large-scale building projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in structural and civil design, project execution, quality control, and construction management. The role requires close coordination with architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
Prepare and review structural and civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and other stakeholders during project planning and design development.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and design modifications.
Site Supervision & Construction Management
Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Monitor site progress and provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential construction issues, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Verify quantities, measurements, and completed work for contractor billing and project reporting.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections throughout project execution.
Prepare site progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates for management.
Review and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.
Participate in project meetings and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
