As a Finance Team Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across accounting, reporting, and reconciliation processes. You’ll manage a small team, drive accountability, and collaborate closely with US and Nepal teams to maintain strong financial discipline and transparent reporting.

Reporting To: Finance Manager
Department: M&A and Finance

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reconciliations.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
Manage and train junior finance associates; review their work for quality and consistency.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.
Coordinate with external stakeholders (auditors, banks, tax consultants, vendors, etc.).
Support the preparation of management reports and variance analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, HR, Legal) to ensure smooth financial operations.
Maintain and update SOPs and accounting documentation for all finance processes.

Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of tools like Xero, QuickBooks, or Salesforce.
Education: BBA/MBA in Finance or a professional qualification (CA/ACCA).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proven ability to lead a small team.
Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
Salary Range: Competitive (based on experience)
