Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our team as Senior Finance Officer. The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role also includes leading and managing a team, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance
Coordinate audits (internal and external) and ensure timely closure of audit findings
Handle tax filings, VAT/GST compliance, and statutory reporting
Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decision-making
Lead, manage, and supervise the finance team, ensuring proper task allocation and performance management
Mentor, train, and develop junior finance staff to enhance team capability
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Professional certification such as CA / ACCA / CPA is an advantage
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proven experience in team management and leadership

Preferred Skills:

Experience in budgeting and financial planning
Knowledge of taxation and regulatory requirements
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience in audit coordination
