This position evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls, preparation of reports, reconciliation, financial statements as per applicable accounting standards and other regulatory requirements. This position works with all levels of management within the company along with external stakeholders i.e. external auditors, regulators.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting the supervisor for maintaining overall accounting functions within the finance department.
• Ensuring compliance of regulatory and other applicable laws & requirements.
• Preparation of financial statements as per applicable rules and regulation.
• Perform special assignments as directed by the Supervisor and Function Head and provide support to special projects when requested by local management.
• Responsible for seeing that all activities are performed in accordance with MetLife policies and other applicable policies & procedures.
• Follow & demonstrate proficiency in the performance of risk-based analytics of the business; and understand the data sources that drive the analytics.
