The Finance Officer handles core finance duties alongside ownership of inventory, procurement, and fixed asset records for the company. The role keeps check on the Admin team and manages documentations, acting as the control point between Operations, Admin and Finance to keep every transaction, stock movement, and asset properly documented and reportable.

Scope: Inventory, Assets & Finance

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting: Prepare vouchers, post accounting entries, and reconcile transactions.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock records, reconcile physical stock against system data, investigate discrepancies, and report on consumption trends.
System Entries: Record and update all inventory and fixed asset entries (receipts, issues, transfers, disposals) in the system, and coordinate with concerned stakeholders for anything related to inventory or assets in the system.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination: Manage RFQs, POs, GRNs, and 3-way matching (PO-GRN-Invoice); deal with vendors as required,maintain vendor files and prepare procurement/payment documentation for Finance.
Fixed Asset Management: Maintain the asset register and tagging, process transfers, coordinate maintenance/insurance, and handle disposal/write-offs with approvals.
Billing & Reporting: Issue invoices, post accounting entries, and prepare weekly/monthly inventory, asset, and reconciliation reports.
Supervision: Assign and oversee the admin team work on inventory, stock movement, and assets, communicate regularly on shipments and stock needs, and review their documentation for accuracy.
Trade Documentation & Banking: Prepare and track LC/TT documentation for import/export shipments, and coordinate with the bank and logistics team on approvals, releases, and delivery timelines.
SOPs & Compliance: Maintain SOPs for all inventory, procurement, and asset processes, and ensure activities follow delegation-of-authority guidelines.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management
2+ years' experience in finance/accounting, with exposure to inventory or asset handling and accounting
Familiarity with LC/TT documentation and bank coordination for import/export shipments
Working knowledge of accounting/inventory system software
Strong Excel, bookkeeping, and account-reconciliation skills

Note: Candidate must have a two wheeler with valid license.
