Pastel Beauty is a rapidly growing Nepali beauty brand offering high-quality cosmetics through our online store and expanding retail presence. We currently operate two physical stores alongside our D2C e-commerce business. As we scale our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to strengthen our financial systems and support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to support strategic, data-driven decision-making.
Maintain and manage accounting operations using Odoo Accounting (or similar ERP platforms) and advanced MS Excel tools.
Ensure full compliance with Nepalese taxation laws, including Income Tax, VAT, Customs, Excise, and TDS.
Maintain strong working knowledge of the Nepalese Company Act to ensure proper financial governance and statutory compliance.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to strengthen the company’s overall financial health.
Conduct periodic reconciliation of all sales (online + offline) with bank deposits, digital payments, and cash collections.
Monitor industry and market trends—including the Nepalese stock market—to identify financial opportunities, risks, and insights.
Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, banks, and relevant government authorities when required.
Implement strong internal controls, financial policies, and cost-efficiency measures across the organization.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG businesses is highly preferred.

Professional Knowledge & Requirements:

Strong understanding of Nepalese taxation: Income Tax, VAT, Customs, Excise, and TDS.
Good knowledge of the Nepalese Company Act and statutory compliance procedures.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Odoo preferred).
Ability to perform accurate stock monitoring and cost analysis.
