Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer with knowledge of BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) to join our travel agency. As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the agency, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and handling BSP-related functions. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the financial health and stability of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and invoices.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Send invoices and follow up on outstanding payments as necessary.
  • Handle BSP-related processes, such as ticketing, refunds, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Maintain knowledge of BSP rules and regulations, including ticketing procedures, commission settlements, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with airlines and BSP authorities regarding financial matters, discrepancies, and dispute resolutions.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and recording.
  • Reconcile and review petty cash transactions periodically.
