CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases, poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS Nepal has been implementing emergency response and recovery (Including COVID-19) program in Nepal, and further plans to extend sustainable livelihood development program in various districts of Nepal. Additionally, CRS is implementing USAID supported livelihood technical assistance program Farmer to Farmer (F2F) in Bagmati Province, Province 5, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) led by CRS Nepal since March 2017 has been providing coordination support services across 32 earthquake affected districts. CRS Nepal is currently expanding its support to address the Covid-19 economic recovery needs for the vulnerable households in Palpa and Gorkha districts. Further, CRS Nepal plans to expand community resilient program through the implementation of Shelter, WASH and Sustainable Agriculture Livelihoods in the western earthquake affected districts of Nepal.

The Finance Manager (FM) is responsible for managing the CP’s Finance Department. As a member of the country program’s leadership team, s/he is responsible for ensuring the robustness of the CP’s financial management systems and processes. S/he is in charge of financial reporting, financial grant management and compliance, communication, capacity building of all finance staff in CP (including those in Sub-Offices or project specific finance positions) as well as capacity strengthening of sub-recipients in the area of financial management. The Finance Manager designs, improves and maintains effective financial systems and processes. In line with CRS’ strategic priority to reinforce an organizational culture of high performance and accountability, s/he works with CP management to ensure that the country program maintains a high level of resource stewardship and strict financial accountability.
Functional Responsibilities:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for Financial Management and Analysis, Planning & Budget Administration, Treasury, Sub - Recipients financial management and Capacity Building, Reporting, Grant Management, Risk Management and Compliances and also Finance Personnel Management and Overall Capacity Strengthening (including project specific and Sub-Office finance staff)
