Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the trading organization's financial operations, planning, reporting and receivable management. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective budgeting, and strategic financial decision-making while supporting the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Development, monitoring and reporting in compliance with the company policies.
Inventory management
Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
Prepare Daily Business Report (DSR), Debtors Report, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Manage financial audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Prepare and monitor departmental and organizational budgets.
Implement and maintain internal financial controls and risk management practices.
Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team.
Ensure timely tax filings, VAT compliance, and other statutory obligations.
Coordinate with management on financial planning and business growth initiatives.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree, Semi Qualified CA is an advantage).
Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, along with managerial role.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel, MS Word.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience in financial planning and strategic budgeting.
Knowledge of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) and applicable tax laws.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Self-Motivated with the result-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and also as a team
