Qualification and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant having at least 2+ years working experience in Nepal
  • Knowledge of trade finance, import, export, letter of credit and bank financing
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules, targets and deadlines
  • Ability to analyze the market trends, use marketing tools and prepare MIS
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to function as a team player
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the network and organization
  • Highly creative, innovative, out of the box thinker

Job Description

  • Work as a group finance personnel directing, reviewing and monitoring group and subsidiary financial transactions.
  •  Reviewing, preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to management, board members, stakeholders, executives, and investors in formal meetings.
  • Participating in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
  • Preparing annual budgets, forecasts and oversee in auditing and implementing the corrective findings from the internal audit.
  • Managing reporting requirements, within defined timelines, for various stakeholders.
  • Managing daily transaction of domestic LC / Foreign LC / TR Loan /Buyers Credit /
  • Suppliers Credit Issuance / Amendment / Payments / Acceptance / Lodgment / Bills
  • Retirement / Collection / Discounting / Liaising with various banks
  • Handling Bank Guarantees / Liaising with banks for various transactions and
  • conformations
  • Prepare and submit documents to the bank in relation to Import for LC, TR, BG and
  • follow up for the same.
  • Review of the stocks balance, re-order level and supply chain management
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly budget for expenses, supplier’s payments, debtor’s
  • recovery
  • Vouching & verification of all receipt, expense, vendor payment, purchase order,
  • comparative statement, debit note, credit note, cash voucher & reconciliation of bank
  • statement etc.
  • Supervision and management of all accounting transactions, system entry and
  • regulatory tax, VAT, custom etc. compliance
  • Liaison person between the banks, tax authorities, lawyers, office of company registrar
  • and ensure compliance with prevailing laws.
  • Review of customer files, KYC, credit assessment, preparation of ageing for Trade
  • Payable & Receivables.
  • Ability to understand purchase order, terms and timely process payments, monitor
  • Vehicle & Consignment Tracking System
  • Coordination with different team members, internal & external auditors for quarterly
  • internal audit and annual financial audit
  • Reviewing sales & business forecast and its achievement
  • Overseeing the financial department employees, including financial assistants and
  • accountants and coordinating with other departments and units
  • Other task related to financial management of the company
