About the job

Job Title: Finance Executive

Location: Jhamsikhel, Kathmandu

Type: Hybrid

Timing:

6:45 AM - 9:00 AM: Work from home,
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Break,
10:00 AM - 4:45 PM: On-site (One hour break in between)

Hexamatics, established in 2002, has expanded to 9 regional offices, covering the ASEAN market. We enable companies to grow their business in the ASEAN region by providing a comprehensive suite of solutions, including Human Resource Outsourcing, Finance, Legal, and Business Support services.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance
Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA
Proficiency in English

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

i. Accounts Receivable:

Provide timely client invoicing.
Follow up on collections and track payments.
Prepare collection reports for the manager.
Review clients/consultant’s contracts/agreements
Monitor and analyze customer profitability.

ii. Accounts Payable:

Review quotations and issue Purchase Orders
Process business transactions, invoices, and verify financial data.
Ensure complete documentation for vendor invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence for files
Obtain necessary information regarding invoice payments.
Track and maintain overheads.
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis.

iii. Compliance:

Handle compliance matters as per local laws.
Compute monthly relevant taxes as regulated.
Liaise with tax authorities and other government bodies.
Work with auditors during audits.
Coordinate with tax consultants.
Ensure timely settlement of statutory liabilities.

iv. Financial Reporting:

Prepare and report monthly Financial Statements (Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Financial Position)
Conduct Financial Ratio Analysis for future business insights.
Perform Variance Analysis to compare estimated costs to actual costs and explain variances.
Forecast cash flow positions to ensure sufficient funds for operations.
Generate Aging Reports weekly and highlight critical outstanding amounts.
Conduct monthly Bank Reconciliation
Review competitors' performance and report key issues to management.
Compile key business metrics and report them to management.
Create additional analyses and reports as requested.
Identify and resolve discrepancies.
