Job Description

The Finance cum Business Office Manager is responsible for smooth organizational and financial operations of the organization to facilitate organizational and financial effectiveness and efficiency. You will report to Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for providing office and financial management to the company.

Role and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop short and long term financial and accounting policies, objectives and plans and oversee the implementation of agreed actions.
  • Responsible for timely audit and relative tax/VAT reporting and submission.
  • Manage and approving cash flow on an ongoing basis to ensure fiscal performance according to budget.
  • Provides ongoing financial data and analytical reports and produces financial reports to COO.
  • Responsible for Budget planning, managing and controlling departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
  • Liaise directly with external auditors, tax authorities and ensure timely and accurate reporting and submission.
  • Coach, Mentor and discipline office staff.
  • Review procurement requests and manage them within the budget and time frame.
  • Liaison with HR Department to design and implement HR policies and ensure timely review of Company Policy.
  • Liaison with other departments and managers to co-ordinate and implement office procedure and policies for smooth organizational operations.
  • Obtained required approval and submit report on time from government authority i.e. Tax office, Department of Industries, Company Register office, Immigration.
  • Be the first contact person with vendors or other visitor.   
  • Ensure proper filing system and its protection/security.
  • Responsible to monitor and manage employee daily work logs and provides reports to COO.
  • Overall day to day office management.
  • Maintain and upkeep office environment and; office equipment and utilities.
  • Be proactive in finding more efficient ways of working through use of new tools or procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s with specialization in Finance or similar field
