Job Description

  • Should maintain accounts as per government requirements
  • Handle all transactions related to accounts
  • Should monitor and support taxation issues
  • Should be able to communicate and work with global finance team
  • Should develop and maintain financial data bases
  • Payment/Receipt Follow-up
  • Should be able to work on Tally accounting software
  • Should have knowledge of VAT and TAX
  • Sense of confidentiality
  • A strong team player with good inter-personal skills
  • Able to work independently & under pressure
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data and Bank Reconciliation
  • Maintain employee attendance record and data entry
  • Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoice and other accounting documents
  • Should monitor and support taxation issues
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Answer queries by employees/ external finance team / clients
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Book/arrange meeting as required
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)

 Required Skills

  • Must have Master's degree with minimum 2+ years of proven work experience as an Administrative and Account Officer, or similar role.
    Or
    Bachelor degree with 4+ years of proven work experience as an Administrative and Account Officer, or similar role.
  • Solid have knowledge of office procedures.
  • Experience with office and account management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word) and Talley specifically.
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Master’s or Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance and Administration, Economics or related field.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Nepali, spoken and written.
