Department: Finance/Operations
Reports To: Finance Manager, Head Office, United Kingdom

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Finance and Logistics Officer for a full-time, on-site position at AHZ Nepal in New-Baneshwor. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the financial and logistical operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing budget preparation, financial record-keeping, supply chain management, and ensuring the smooth operation of logistics processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, managing inventory, and optimizing logistics to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

Oversee financial operations, including the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow maintenance to ensure financial stability.
Prepare Fixed Asset reconciliations and maintain up-to-date records of all daily transactions and financial changes.
Analyse actual performance against budget/forecast and assist with month-end management accounts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management:

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Manage inventory levels to meet operational needs, ensuring timely availability of supplies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes.
Coordinate the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key insights and variances, directly to the Finance Manager at the Head Office in the UK.
Analyze logistics performance and financial data to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA part-qualified or newly qualified professionals are preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial and logistics operations.
Experience in logistics planning and supply chain management is highly desirable.

Skills:

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial modelling and data analysis.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships.
