Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Admin Officer to support the company's overall financial management, including bookkeeping, maintenance of financial records, and administrative, operational, and logistics support for the effective running of an organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing daily finance activities while supporting the Finance Department in achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Admin Responsibilities:

Supervise daily office operations to ensure efficient and smooth workflow.
Manage personal files and leave records of staff.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of work.
Coordinate with different departments to improve communication and operational efficiency.
Plan and organize resources to achieve short-term operational targets.
Support management in implementing long-term business goals and strategic plans.
Develop and maintain office policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions for continuous improvement.
Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance productivity and professional development.
Monitor office performance and recommend improvements to support organizational growth.
Maintain the store and keep track of the records of the stocks received and disbursed.
Field visits as and when required

Accounting & Financial Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting and financial transactions.
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to facilitate informed decision-making.
Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
Assist with VAT, tax filings, and statutory compliance requirements.
Compliance with VAT, TDS, ETDS
Support internal and external audit processes.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning to optimize resource allocation.
Coordinate with Inland Revenue Office, Banks, suppliers, and internal departments for financial matters.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting accuracy.
Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with banks and third parties.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Proficiency in accounting software, Tally, Saral, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in the team and have the teamwork spirit.
Ability to organize and complete assignments within deadlines.
Ability to work long hours if required.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
High integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
Must be able to travel outside for recovery.
Must possess his own 2-wheeler with a valid driving license.
