Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and motivated Accountant to manage the organization's day-to-day accounting operations and financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial transactions, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, managing receivables and payables, and supporting the organization's financial decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and record all receipts and payments accurately.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing and payment of VAT, TDS, and other statutory taxes.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly.
• Process bank deposits and maintain proper banking documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable effectively.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, identify collection issues, and follow up with clients for timely payments.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors regarding financial obligations.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies promptly.
• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk analysis to support management decisions.
• Evaluate financial operations and recommend best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance revenue, and maximize profitability.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management.
• Update accounting software, internal databases, and spreadsheets as required.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
