Job Description

  • Provide assistance on documenting financial transactions  
  • Assisting dealing with Receivables and Payables, including processing invoices. 
  • Assist the Finance and Admin (F & A) Officer on verifying expenses are within the organization’s policies, correcting errors, questioning abnormal expenses and resolving the problem. 
  • Assist on maintaining internal control system by following policies and procedures; complying local financial and legal requirements. 
  • Correcting errors by posting adjusting journal entries 
  • Assisting in TDS filing. 
  • Preparing or assist in preparing various periodic financial or administrative reports. 
  • Assist on processing requisitions for supplies and equipment. 
  • Assist on maintenance of Fixed asset register and also keeping track of moving assets. 
  • Working with the F & A Officer to prepare HR records, formulate job advertisement, draft job offer letters and contracts and filing of such HR records 
  • In supervision of Finance Officer, facilitating and monitoring the project activities from the financial standpoint. Making frequent field visits to inspect and ensure internal control system as well as local laws are maintained.  
  • Undertaking General Administration tasks in coordination with F & A Officer 
  • Assisting with Monthly and Year end tasks.
