Job Description

SFCG Nepal is looking for qualified Nepali professionals to fulfill the position of Field Coordinator for a four-year UKaid funded project that aims to strengthen the poor and marginalised’s access to justice and security in Nepal.

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of the project and for timely delivery of the project objectives as per the project plan. S/he will coordinate with local partners for the implementation of the activities and support the Regional Manager in the development of reports and case studies at the regional level. The position will be based in Sarlahi and will include frequent field travel. S/he will manage project activities in the respective district and will report to the Regional Manager, Janakpur. 

Required Qualification and Skills:

At least 3 years of progressive project implementation experience including partner coordination, managing work plans and deliverables, and all aspects of successful project implementation; Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, preferably in conflict and peace studies/political science/ law or security studies; Good understanding of the security and justice systems and actors in Nepal; Strong command of English and Nepali language along with the relevant local language at the district level, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
