About the organization
K.K. International School was established in the year 2073 B.S. It was established under Pragik Education Foundation in the memory of Late Sh. Kailash Chand Agrawal and Late Kanta Devi Agrawal thus, creating the name K.K International School.
The school started with a modest 311 students, 23 teachers and 14 staff. The vision was to be a school with a difference that inculcates the ASK (Attitude, Skills, Knowledge) module of education in the students. The school does not believe in the philosophy of scoring high marks to define the level of intelligence in a student. All round development and confidence defines a student of KKIS from the rest.
Within a span of 5 years the school has grown from strength to strength winning many prizes and accolades, the latest one being The Prestigious British Council International School Award 2017-20. This great achievement would not have been possible without the continuous support of the management, the teachers, the students, the parents, stake holders and well-wishers. The school is now a name to reckon within Eastern Nepal as we produce students who are in the real sense, ‘‘Learning today for a better tomorrow.’’
