Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced Engineer/Architect to play a pivotal role in the design and execution of our construction projects. As an Engineer/Architect, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs, preparing detailed plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your creativity, technical expertise, and leadership skills will be essential in delivering high-quality projects that meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and create architectural designs and plans for various construction projects.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions.
Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction teams.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with project goals.
Oversee the progress of construction projects to ensure adherence to architectural plans and quality standards.
Review and approve construction materials, methods, and quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Participate in project meetings and present design proposals to clients and management.
Ensure compliance with all safety and legal regulations.

Note:

Job location is in Pokhara, so you must be able to work from the office. Please do not apply if you cannot meet this requirement.
Minimum contract of 1 year.
Work experience in commercial and residential large building projects is highly prioritized.
Candidates with 2-5 years of work experience are preferred.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural tools.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management processes.
Excellent analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality design work.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
