buildOn is breaking the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education. For the past two decades, buildOn partnered with rural communities to build more than 1,870 schools in some of the economically poorest countries on the planet. There are more than 250,000 children, parents and grandparents attending buildOn schools every day. To build those schools, community members have contributed over 3.3 million volunteer workdays.
