Education Counselor

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Education Counselor to guide students in pursuing higher education abroad. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, along with a strong work ethic. You will assist students in selecting suitable study programs, manage application processes, and ensure compliance with institutional and country-specific requirements.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide proactive counselling by asking relevant questions, understanding student needs, and recommending the most suitable study options abroad.
• Collect and verify all necessary documents from students to process applications.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student applications within the CRM system.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional requirements.
• Coordinate with the admissions team for follow-ups or inquiries regarding student applications.
• Attend professional training and industry events hosted by institutions or the company.
• Provide regular updates and reports on application progress to the manager (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote the company’s brand and services.
• Take on ad-hoc duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and an open mindset.
• Understand the education and visa systems of the assigned countries.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of admission processes for language schools, vocational/private colleges, and universities in the designated countries.
