Role Overview

This role involves managing store operations and driving growth on the Newmew WooCommerce platform. Responsibilities include ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining site performance. The position requires a strategic approach to growth, SEO, AI search visibility, and team leadership, offering manager level scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Management

Maintain accurate stock levels in WooCommerce, including intake processing, quantity updates, and tracking by size, color, and SKU.
Monitor inventory levels daily, proactively identify low stock, and manage restocking schedules.

Store Operations & Website Maintenance

Execute website updates using Elementor, including banners, landing pages, category pages, and promotional content.
Ensure site health by monitoring page speed, mobile responsiveness, broken links, and the checkout process. Escalate complex technical issues that fall outside the scope of Elementor.
Oversee the end to end buyer journey, including payment gateway troubleshooting (eSewa, Khalti, COD), returns processing, and review management. Maintain up-to-date store policies.

Growth, SEO, and AI Visibility

Drive performance metrics such as conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment, and repeat purchase rates. Translate data from Google Analytics and WooCommerce into actionable plans.
Implement growth initiatives including product bundling, upsell strategies, pricing experiments, and seasonal campaigns for Dashain and Tihar.
Manage SEO strategy, covering keyword optimization, meta tags, schema implementation, internal linking, and Google Search Console monitoring.
Expand visibility across AI search platforms. Manage content to ensure optimal parsing and citation by tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

Team Leadership & Reporting

Coordinate daily operations with the Ecommerce Associate.
Review product listings to ensure accuracy in pricing, product variations, and imagery.
Prepare monthly performance summaries covering sales, inventory, SEO, and AI visibility, with recommendations for future actions.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

1 to 3 years of experience managing a WooCommerce or WordPress store, with hands-on proficiency in Elementor.
Proven track record in SEO, including measurable improvements in rankings and organic traffic.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into strategic decisions.
Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving operational challenges.
Experience in overseeing or directing the work of team members.
Genuine interest in AI answer engines and brand mention tracking.

Nice to Have

Experience coordinating with marketing and advertising teams.
Familiarity with AI visibility or brand tracking tools.

Salary: Rs. 40,000 plus, based on the candidate's prior experience and skills.

NewMew Nepal -Within a year of observing the rapid increase in eyewear demand, we redirected our focus towards future expansion. Consequently, we successfully opened three additional stores in Newroad, Pokhara, and Butwal, both inside and outside the valley.
