Nagarik Aawaz invites application from qualified and committed individuals for the post of Documentation and Communications Officer.

The candidate for this position will be based in Lalitpur with frequent field travel in relation to work and is required to:

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of design and editing tools, including Adobe In Design, Canva, and basic video editing software.
• Ability to carry out photography and videography, including basic post-production/editing.
• Skilled in creating print and digital materials, including innovative content aligned with organizational branding.
• Willingness to travel to field locations to document project activities and gather relevant content.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and remain flexible to support work during weekends or in emergency situations when necessary.
• Demonstrates a learning mindset—open to feedback, new ideas, and continuous growth.
• Effectively develops compelling case stories through visual and written storytelling—using photos, videos, and narratives—and supports report writing, content updates, and archiving for organizational publications.

Minimum required qualification: 

• Bachelor's Degree in communication or in a relevant social science with a minimum of two years of work experience. 
• Strong knowledge in writing, filmmaking, photography, storytelling, and post-production editing.
