Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Django Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on Django and Python. You will work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django and Python.
Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas. Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
Testing: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.
Debugging: Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other problems.
Deployment: Assist in the deployment of applications to production environments. Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or other cloud services is a plus.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the codebase and APIs.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Suggest and implement improvements to the development process.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of professional experience in web development, with a focus on Django and Python.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Django and Django REST Framework.
Strong understanding of Python and its ecosystems.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Docker and containerization.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with asynchronous task queues (Celery, RabbitMQ).
Understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
