  • The ability to meet sales targets and develop new clients is the most important skill required for this position. Towards this end, the following skills will be useful 
  • Market knowledge of the education sector in Nepal

  • Developing budgets and sales plans

Job Description

The Director of Sales is responsible for ensuring the Karkhana’s innovative learning approaches improve the lives and learning of as many children as possible all across Nepal. To fulfill this purpose the Director of Sales will provide overall leadership to the sales and marketing activities as a part of the leadership team and in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer. This role has the primary responsibility of ensuring and acquiring revenue through sales of products and services. 

Responsibilities: 

  • First and most important: ensure that yearly revenue targets are met and exceeded
  • Plans, monitors, and appraises Sales Managers and Relationship Managers 
  • Coordinates and supervises Resellers across Nepal 
  • Provide overall leadership to Sales & Marketing in coordination with CEO
  • Provide guidance & support the planning for Brand Manager
  • Generate Quarterly Sales Report 
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products
  • Documentation and review of Sales Assets both offline and online
  • Represents Sales & Marketing Community in the executive team which is under the leadership of CEO
  • Coordinate with Head Teacher and Chief Financial Officer for planning and providing overall sales and marketing direction to the organization
