Areas of Responsibility:

• Food production and operation including maintaining hygiene and sanitation standard of kitchen
• Chef- in– charge of commercial breakfast and lunch preparation
• Menu planning in coordination with Head Chef and or F&B personal
• Monitor all food purchases, storage and provision areas
• Departmental policies and procedures
• Theoretical knowledge base of International cuisine as well as Nepalese specialty cooking
• Support and train staff as per their need
• Assist with the monitoring, supervision and evaluation of students while undergoing practical training in kitchen
• Stock inventory and purchasing
• Assist with the Cost Control of  ODC / special event programs
• Chef – in charge when required

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced culinary training with relevant cuisine experience including at least 3 years locally or abroad in restaurants or hotels.
• Preferably teaching experience
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
