Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to support the Growth Head in driving revenue growth and maintaining strong dealer relationships. The role involves handling inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating dispatches, following up on payments, and supporting field sales activities. The ideal candidate should be energetic, organized, and capable of balancing field and office coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support & Coordination:

Assist the Growth Head in implementing sales strategies and achieving monthly and yearly sales objectives.
Prepare and provide quotations, product information, price lists, and sales-related documents to dealers and customers.
Coordinate with warehouse, accounts, and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and dispatch.
Maintain accurate sales order records, documentation, and follow-up status.

2. Dealer & Customer Relationship Management:

Handle dealer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain regular follow-ups for order confirmations and repeat business.
Support dealer engagement activities and promotional initiatives.
Build and maintain long-term dealer relationships.

3. Payment Follow-Up & Collections:

Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with accounts for reconciliation.
Maintain proper tracking of credit sales and customer dues.
Assist in ensuring timely collection to maintain healthy cash flow.

4. Market & Field Activities:

Conduct regular market visits to dealers and project sites.
Collect feedback on competitor pricing, new products, and market demand trends.
Report market intelligence to management for strategic decision-making.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain proper documentation for sales, dispatch, and returns.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Maintain updated customer database and sales records.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Required Qualifications:

Minimum: +2 (Intermediate) or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in sales support, trading, or hardware/construction materials business preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
Good follow-up discipline and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of quotation preparation and margin calculation (preferred).
Customer-focused and presentable personality.
Honest, punctual, and result-oriented.
Ability to multitask and coordinate across departments.
Willingness to travel for market visits when required.

Additional Requirements:

Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
Ability to handle both office coordination and field visits.
Team player with strong reporting discipline.
Prior experience in hardware, construction materials, lifting equipment, or trading business will be an added advantage.

Salary: 30k to 35k plus allowances and incentives

After reaching the heights and specializing in the gases industries completely, Bagmati Commercial Pvt Ltd (BCPL) was found in August 2015 with the motto of Complete supplies of Welding Equipments, Tools & Tackles, Water Pumps, Safety Equipments, WASH construction materials and other specialized items under the tagline of “Bridging the Gaps … ” for complete ind us try building projects and construction projects.
