Should have experience in databases design and database application development
Good SQL knowledge like Joins Query Optimization knowledge like Explain plan and how query execution happens In database Unix OS knowledge like commands and scripting Experience/Knowledge of Data warehouse, OLAP database, Star and Snowflake schema designs and implementation
Good to have Experience in any columnar databaseExperience in any Shell scripting language like Shell, Perl, python Knowledge of any multi node database like Oracle RAC, Sybase IQ etc.
Experience/knowledge of any ETL tools like Informatica, Data Stage, Telend Experience of any BI tools like Tableau, BO, Crystal reports, MicroStrategy, BIRT etc
