Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coordinator to join our Science Faculty team. The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the Science Faculty operations, ensuring smooth functioning, and fostering an environment conducive to academic excellence. The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in a relevant scientific discipline, coupled with substantial experience in educational coordination or administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Science Faculty, including academic programs, curriculum development, and student activities.
Collaborate with faculty members to ensure effective delivery of courses and adherence to educational standards.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the Science Faculty.
Monitor and evaluate faculty performance, providing support and guidance as needed.
Manage administrative tasks related to student enrollment, scheduling, and academic records.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.
Serve as a liaison between faculty, students, and administration, addressing concerns and facilitating communication.
Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other institutional initiatives as required.
Stay updated on trends and developments in the field of science education and integrate relevant advancements into the curriculum.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Science (Preferably in PCM group)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the leadership position in educational role within the Science Faculty domain.
Also required atleast 5 years of teaching experience in higher secondary level
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
Proficiency in educational technologies and software applications related to academic management.
