Job Description

  • Create program style guide and develop processes and procedures to streamline the creation, fact checking, editing, and archiving of project deliverables.
  • Maintain database of freelance writers, copy editors, proofreaders, and indexers.
  • Copy-editing and proof reading articles and other web content as per standard.
  • Find and developing new ideas for web content.
  • Monitor Twitter, Facebook & other relevant pages and actively participate in discussions across communities, social networks & blogs.
  • Develop website and online content, emails, blog posts, newsletters etc.
  • Write product description, reviews, misc. marketing content.
  • Write and post content online; manage the company blog and ensure posting of relevant, interesting, engaging content on our corporate blog.
  • Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, forums and events.
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends. 
  • Create buzz about the company through social media; blogs; contests
  • Helped develop the company’s extranet and the redesign of the website along with the designers and developers.
