APEIRON is a women led Nepali NGO working for a gender equal society through four main areas of interventions; Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response, Awareness and Education, Income Generation and Institutional Collaboration.

APEIRON fights against prejudice, violence, and inequalities so that women develop skills necessary to support themselves and their families. APEIRON helps women confront uphill battles: gender based violence, restricted access to and control over resources, low literacy, struggles to obtain citizenship documents, and other social and economic challenges. 

The main purpose of this position if to support the work of APEIRON by strengthening the organizational financial health.APEIRON works with multiple donors and is accountable to Nepal Government and the beneficiaries. Under the guidance of the Apeiron’s Executive Director, the Finance Manager will plan, organize, control and monitor financial performances of the organization and its projects.

  • Advanced university degree or equivalent in gender studies or related fields in social sciences
  • Minimum 10 year of progressively responsible professional experience on GBV (safe home management experience preferred)
  • Ability to work with a wide range of diverse groups 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: the ability to successfully and effectively communicate with people in a multi-cultural environment


Job Description

Terms of Reference for Shelter Protocol Revision and Quality Management System Establishment (Re-advertise)

  • To provide overall guidelines for Standard operating procedures on prevention and response to GBV
  • Strengthen GBV response in safe homes run by APEIRON
  • To explain the different steps or actions involved in each part of the case management process and outline the guiding principles for case management and case plan achievement
  • To define the roles and responsibilities of each actor involved in the different steps of the case management process
  • Review existing shelter operation management policy and protocol of APEIRON and identify existing resources and gaps on it.
  • Based on the review, develop an integrated shelter operation protocol to establish quality management system in safe homes.
  • Develop a set of indicators to measure the effectiveness of the case management interventions and design and review a tool to measure those indicators.
  • Develop a one day orientation module aiming to develop the knowledge and skills of safe homes staff on revised protocol.
  • Orientation of safe homes staff based on the developed module
  • Orientation venue and other logistic arrangement will be managed by APEIRON in Kathmandu
